This was a restaurant in East Nashville…and one of our favorites. This spot was a huge hit for years in town. A seasonal dining experience in the heart of East Nashville, now known as the city’s “it” destination for culinary artistry. At the heart of the concept was a passion shared by the owner and the highly-decorated Executive Chef, to invent combinations of new and traditional flavors, utilizing the freshest, of-the-season ingredients. The cuisine was characterized by its simplicity of form and flavors borrowed from the chef’s U.S. and Lebanese heritage.
Start with a cocktail at our bar, internationally renowned for superior proprietary cocktails and house-made ingredients, and find the hospitality as gracious as the cocktails are inspired. Dine al fresco on our large patio, enjoy some complimentary truffled popcorn with a barrel-aged negroni by the fire, or host a private event for up to 100 of your closest friends in the James Room. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the potted marrow with black garlic and preserved lemon, or the mangalitsa belly with candied magadamia. Join us each Thursday night for Happy Hour until close, but be sure to make a reservation quickly, as it has become a Nashville institution.
The owner and his restaurants have been featured in Southern Living, Entrepreneur Magazine, Food & Wine Magazine, and the New York Times. Born a Tennesseean, and raised a Texan, he favors a well-conceptualized and relaxed bar/kitchen experience. He formed Amaranth Hospitality Group in 2014 in the hopes of bringing more unique and progressive concepts to the Nashville area and beyond. As of 2014, the owners had opened a new spot in Germantown, in downtown Nashville.
